Agadir – As you traverse the scenic route, be captivated by the breathtaking landscapes that unfold before your eyes, from rolling hills to picturesque coastal views.
Essaouira, the old Portuguese city, was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001.
On our way to Essaouira, we will have a few stops along the way:
- A quick stop to see the “flying goats” climbing the Argan trees looking for the fresh nuts and fresh leaves.
- and another stop to rest, have a coffee break, or use restrooms in a Berber village.
Once we arrive in Essaouira, you will have a city tour with our guide to visit the souk, which is located inside the Medina, and make a tour of the ramparts of the Kasbah, where you will explore the ramparts of the Scala, the port of Essaouira, the municipal market
After the city tour, you will have some free time to explore the city on your own, and don’t forget to squeeze in a quick visit to the beautiful, sunny beach of Essaouira.
After your free time, you will meet with our guide and driver and start the return journey to Agadir.

Tour Plan
- Pick up from the reception of your hotel in Agadir around 7:30 in the morning (8:15 for hotels in Taghazout).
- Rest stop on the road to Essaouira, to use restrooms, stretch your legs or get a drink.
- Goats on the tree stop, to see the goats climbing the argan tree and reaching for the argan nuts.
- Arriving to the old portugal city "Essaouira" around 11 o'clock in the morning, then start the city tour with our guide.
- Around 2 hours free time in Essaouira to discover the city on your own and find a place to eat.
- Meeting at the agreed meeting point with your guide and start the journey back to Agadir.
- Return to your hotel in Agadir around 7 o'clock in the evening.
